In order to ensure your peace of mind and the safety of your dog, I require all dogs to be vaccinated, micro-chipped, and to have an ID tag fitted to their collar. It is your responsibility to supply me with a suitable lead and harness as well as a coat and muzzle if necessary. Please note that I cannot walk your dog off the lead without your written consent.

In the event of an emergency, I will make every effort to contact you, however, I reserve the right to take suitable action and seek veterinary advice without your consent. You are also required to notify me if your female dog is in season, as I will not be held responsible if she is impregnated in my care.

I reserve the right to terminate any contract if I believe your dog is a danger to myself and others, including other dogs. Should this termination be necessary, you will receive a full refund. If your dog is involved in a fight and causes or receives injury, you will be responsible for any costs incurred. While I walk your dog in all weather, in adverse conditions where I feel your dog’s health and well-being will be put at risk, I will contact you for your permission to walk and let your dog out at a different time.

While I am insured wherever possible, it is recommended that all dogs and cats are insured by their owners, as you will be held responsible for any costs that may be incurred. Additionally, I may refuse a booking if your dog or cat is uninsured. While I make every effort to care for your pets and ensure their safety, I will not be held responsible or liable for any incurred costs, or the loss, injury, or death of your pet.

Keys Policy
I fully understand any concerns you may have about leaving keys to your home in the hands of a stranger. My hope is that I will be able to give you complete peace of mind during our consultation that your pets and home will be in the safest hands. I pride myself on my highly professional approach, and copies of all my official documentation, including my DBS certification, is available upon request. If agreed upon at the initial consultation, I will acquire a set of keys to your home. These keys are kept in a secure location at all times and will be kept on a keyring free of any information relating to you or your property.

Bookings and Cancellations
In the event of a cancellation, notice of at least 24 hours is necessary in order to receive a full refund. While I always strive to arrive at your home on time, if any unforeseen circumstances occur causing a delay of up to 30 minutes, I will contact you with a revised schedule. If you are not completely satisfied with this revised schedule, you are entitled to a full refund. If I need to cancel an agreed upon service for any reason, you will receive a full refund.

Payment
Payment can be made via cash or cheque and should be made payable to Nicola Jenkins. All payment must be made prior to the rendering of any services.

Dog and Puppy 1-2-1 Training Terms and Conditions.

As a member of organisations including the Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour and in accordance with their strict code of practice the use of aversive type choke chains slip leads prong collars are strictly forbidden.
Positive Reinforcement Training means you will be clearly communicating with your dog, by rewarding with treats and praise, however this type of training needs consistency and patience.
All dogs require a id tag fitted to their collar along with a suitable lead or harness .
While I am insured wherever possible it is recommended that all dogs are insured by their owners, as you will be held responsible for any costs that may be incurred. While I make every effect to ensure you dogs safety, I will not be held responsible or liable for any costs incurred, following the death, loss or injury to your dog.
